Founded by Zeno, Zenok Leather was born from a deep appreciation for high-quality leather and traditional craftsmanship. After learning from master artisans in South Korea, Zeno brought this expertise to Canada, where Zenok Leather continues to produce hand-stitched, durable, and beautifully designed leather goods.

Beyond the workshop, Zeno is a man of deep passions. Music runs through everything he does — he has spent years collecting vinyl records, each one a story waiting to be heard. On quiet evenings, the warm crackle of a needle on a record fills his workshop as he stitches leather by hand. He has always dreamed of sharing those stories, and a music and vinyl blog may be just around the corner.

For years, Zeno also found joy in building plastic model kits and intricate LEGO sets — the same patient hands that stitch leather once carefully pressed tiny pieces together, creating miniature worlds. Now at 50, his eyes don't quite cooperate the way they used to, and those building sessions have become rare and all the more precious. It is a small, bittersweet reminder that the things we love most deserve our time while we still have it.

When he needs to slow down and recharge, Zeno heads to his favourite local cafes — a good cup of coffee, he believes, is its own kind of craftsmanship. He is considering sharing these hidden gems through a cafe tour series on the blog, because great things, whether leather goods, music, or a perfectly pulled espresso, are worth talking about.
